MORRIS TYPE COMPRESSION COUPLINGS

Morris compression couplings are designed to provide a cost effective method of connecting different pipes to each other. These are generally used in pneumatic conveying and come with a complete collection of precision coupling and tubing products. The couplings can be used in both vacuum and pressure based applications and can be installed easily without the need of pipe ends.

The couplings do not have any special considerations to be installed on pipe ends and at most require some de-burring. This is usually done to bring them down to scale or to modify the portion of the tube that has to be clamped.

Side-band compression couplings are designed to provide the maximum hold to ensure heavy duty pipes remain connected. They boast an enhanced axle force holding power along with dual-lock side bands and longitudinal bars that are made to withstand pull. These couplings can perform under high pressure.

The in-line sight glasses provide a complete 360 degrees window that allows a view inside the pipes to the materials flowing in the pneumatic tube or the conveyor lines. The designs is quite simple and straight through and the couplings come in a wide range of sizes. You can either get aluminum or stainless steel ends with the ones you order depending on the pressure these have to withstand and the materials transferred through the pipes.

The original Morris compression coupling is designed to join pipe and tubing specifically for pneumatic systems. These are easy to install and made from galvanized steel for extra reinforcement but they are also available in stainless steel and aluminum. The couplings come with static conducive grounding strips along with gasket materials in either black or white and which are made of silicone, neoprene among other materials. The ones you choose should depend on the types of pipes they are meant to support.
